We are a Christ-centered, confessional, liturgical Lutheran church in Greeley, Colorado

We find our comfort and strength in:

  • God’s inspired and inerrant Word which proclaims to us that Christ died for us and makes us His own.
  • God’s gathering of us around His Word and Sacraments where He feeds and sustains us.
  • The fellowship of baptized believers — we lift up and support each other as we walk through our lives.

What You’ll Find at Gloria Christi Lutheran Church

Faithful

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him has everlasting life.” –John 3:16

The Bible tells the story of how God loved us so much that He sent Christ to die on the cross — for you.

He rose from the dead and defeated sin. He wants you to be His now and forever. As baptized believers, this is what unites us.

Liturgical

We worship with the historic liturgy which has been used since the very birth of Christianity — almost every sentence is taken directly from Scripture.

We use Lutheran Service Book (LSB) as our liturgy and hymn source. LSB focuses on the comfort and gifts that Christ gives us by the Holy Spirit so that our music communicates the Gospel and God’s love for us.

Sacramental

The Bible teaches that we receive real gifts through Holy Baptism and Holy Communion — that we are truly adopted into the body of Christ in Holy Baptism and that we truly receive Christ’s body and blood in, with, and under the bread and the wine in Holy Communion.

Please talk with the Pastor before communing here for the first time.

Gloria Christi is a Family

The members of Gloria Christi Lutheran Church are a family — God’s family. We’re united through our baptisms into the death and resurrection of Christ. We’ve been adopted into God’s family.

Just like in our earthly families, we are gathered together to learn our Father’s will and to receive His love for us, both in the Proclamation of the Word and in the Sacrament of Holy Communion in the Divine Service.

Brothers and sisters are meant to strengthen each other and support each other. We do that throughout the entire week.  We have members of all ages — from newborns to great grandparents.

Whether you’re a visitor or are looking for a new church home, we pray that you will consider visiting us on Sunday morning for our Divine Service at 9 a.m.

We’d love to see you!

We’re a Part of a Bigger Family

Gloria Christi Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS).  Our teachings are in line with what the LCMS believes, teaches and confesses.
